Ադրբեջանը մտադիր չէ զորքեր ուղարկել իր սահմաններից դուրս, այդ թվում՝ Գազայ, խաղաղապահ գործողություններին մասնակցելու համար, երկուշաբթի՝ հունվարի 5-ին, ուշ երեկոյան հայտարարել է նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը ադրբեջանական հեռուստաալիքներին տված հարցազրույցում։

Նա նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանը կապ է հաստատել ԱՄՆ-ում Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմի հետ՝ մի շարք հարցեր ուղղելով Գազայում խաղաղապահ ուժերի գործունեության վերաբերյալ։

«Մենք պատրաստել ենք 20-ից ավելի հարց պարունակող հարցաթերթիկ և ներկայացրել ենք այն ամերիկյան կողմին։ Խաղաղապահ ուժերին մասնակցություն չի նախատեսվում: Ես ընդհանրապես չեմ քննարկում Ադրբեջանից դուրս ռազմական գործողություններին մասնակցելու հնարավորությունը», - նշել է Ալիևը։
