«Եթե թշնամին սխալվի, կստանա ավելի վճռական պատասխան, և մենք կհեռացնենք ցանկացած ագրեսորի ձեռք», հայտարարել է Իրանի բանակի գլխավոր հրամանատար, գեներալ Ամիր Խաթամին։

«Ցույցերը նորմալ և բնական են ցանկացած երկրում, բայց աննորմալն ու ոչ ավանդականը բողոքի ցույցերի արագ վերածվելն է անկարգությունների շատ կարճ ժամանակում։ Սա բնորոշ չէ կուլտուրական իրանական ազգին և անկասկած կազմակերպվում է թշնամիների կողմից», - ասել է Խաթամին։

Թեհրանի բանակի հրամանատարաշտաբային համալսարանում իր ելույթում գեներալ-մայոր Խաթամին հիշեցրել է, որ չնայած բողոքներին՝ երկրի ժողովուրդը հրաժարվել է ապստամբների կողքին լինել՝ կիսելով նրանց ուղին և հրաժարվելով ներգրավվել ԱՄՆ նախագահի և Իսրայելի վարչապետի կողմից ցանկալի շրջանակի մեջ։
