Քանի որ այս հարցը բարձրացնում են Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահը և մեր եվրոպացի գործընկերները, ես կարճ կլինեմ` ես պատրաստ եմ, գրել է Զելենսկին ֆեյսբուքյան էջում՝ խոսելով Ուկրաինայում նախագահական ընտրություններ անցկացնելու մասին:

«Վաղը ես կլինեմ Ուկրաինայում և սպասում եմ մեր գործընկերներից և օրենսդիրներից առաջարկներ իրավական փոփոխությունների վերաբերյալ, որոնք թույլ կտան ընտրություններ անցկացնել ռազմական իրավիճակում: Ես խնդրում եմ Միացյալ Նահանգներին Եվրոպայի հետ միասին ապահովել քվեարկության անվտանգությունը: Եթե դա արվի, Ուկրաինան կկարողանա ընտրություններ անցկացնել 60 օրվա ընթացքում», - հավելել է Ուկրաինայի նախագահը:

Երեկ Politico-ին տված հարցազրույցի ժամանակ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ Զելենսկին պատերազմը չի դադարեցնում, որովհետև չի ուզում նախագահական ընտրություններ անցկացնել:
