ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն անձամբ Քենեդիի անվան կենտրոնի պատվո մեդալներ է հանձնել դերասան Սիլվեստր Ստալոնեին, Kiss ռոք խմբին և երգչուհի Գլորիա Գեյնորին։

Քենեդի կենտրոնի պատվավոր մրցանակը շնորհվում է կատարողական արվեստի զարգացման գործում բացառիկ ներդրման համար։ 

Այս տարի այդ պատվին արժանացել են նաև բրիտանացի դերասան Մայքլ Քրոուֆորդը և քանթրի երգիչ Ջորջ Սթրեյթը։

ԱՄՆ նախագահն ափսոսանքով նշել է իսկապես մեծ կինոաստղերի պակասը։

«Իմ ընկերը հրաշալի մարդ է, իսկապես ուշագրավ մարդ, իսկապես մեծ կինոաստղերից մեկը: Նրանցից շատերը չկան: Նախկինում շատ էին, բայց հիմա գրեթե չկան»,- ասել է Թրամփը՝ Ստալոնեին մրցանակը հանձնելիս։
