Американский боксер армянского происхождения Ванес Мартиросян скончался в Лос-Анджелесе (США) в возрасте 39 лет после продолжительной болезни.

Мартиросян скончался после двухлетней борьбы с раком кожи.

Мартиросян завершил карьеру в 2018 году после досрочного поражения от Геннадия Головкина. На его счету 41 бой в карьере, где он одержал 36 побед при одной ничьей и четырех поражениях (от Головкина, Джермелла Чарло, Эрисланди Лары и Деметриуса Андрейда).
