ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կհամաձայնվի հանդիպել իր ռուս գործընկեր Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ, եթե դա կնպաստի Ուկրաինայի հակամարտության կարգավորմանը, հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոն՝ Bloomberg-ի փոխանցմամբ։

«Երկու կողմերն էլ համաձայնեցին, որ մեր նախագահների հաջորդ հանդիպումը պետք է կոնկրետ արդյունք տա. մենք պետք է իմանանք, որ կա իրական հնարավորություն դրական բան ստանալու», - ասել է Ռուբիոն։

ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարը նշել է, որ Վաշինգտոնը մտադիր չէ հանդիպումներ անցկացնել հանուն հանդիպումների։

Հոկտեմբերի 23-ին Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ չեղարկել է իր ռուս գործընկեր Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ Բուդապեշտում նախատեսված բանակցությունները: Նա այս որոշումը կայացրել է, քանի որ կարծում էր, որ հանդիպումը չի հասնի այն բանին, ինչ իրենց անհրաժեշտ է:
