Թուրքիայի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտարարել է, որ Սիրիայի բանակի ստորաբաժանումները սկսել են համատեղ ուսումնական պատրաստություն Թուրքիայի ռազմակայաններում և ուսումնավարժարաններում։ Այս մասին գրում է ermenihaber.am-ը:

Հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է, որ գործընթացը իրականացվում է երկու երկրների միջև ստորագրված «Համատեղ պատրաստության և խորհրդատվության» մասին հուշագրի շրջանակում։ Սիրիացի զինվորականները ներկայումս մասնակցում են Թուրքիայում անցկացվող տեսական և գործնական դասընթացներին։

Նախարարությունը նաև ընդգծել է, որ Անկարան հետևում է Սիրիայի Դեմոկրատական Ուժերի (ՍԴՈւ- քրդական զորաջոկատներ)՝ Սիրիայի ժամանակավոր կառավարությանը ինտեգրվելու գործընթացին։
