Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան հայտարարել է, որ ռուս դիվանագետները «շատ խորը և իսկապես լուրջ» աշխատանք են տանում Ռուսաստանի և ԱՄՆ նախագահներ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի և Դոնալդ Թրամփի հանդիպումը նախապատրաստելու համար: Նրա խոսքերը մեջբերում է Lenta-ն։
Զախարովան մեկնաբանել է երկու առաջնորդների անցած բանակցությունները և հայտնել, որ դրանցից հետո Ռուսաստանի և Հունգարիայի արտգործնախարարները շփումներ են ունեցել նախագահների հանդիպումը կազմակերպելու համար:

«Դիվանագիտական խողովակներով (տարբեր մակարդակներով) նույնպես աշխատանքներ են տարվում։ Ահա սա է այն շատ խորը և իսկապես լուրջ աշխատանքի ամփոփագիրը, որն այժմ իրականացնում են ռուս դիվանագետները և նրանք, ում հանձնարարված է պատրաստել այս այցը, այս հանդիպումը», - նշել է pa\twnjan։
