Վրաստանի նախագահ Միխեիլ Կավելաշվիլին հոկտեմբերի 14-ին նշվող Սվետիցխովլոբա եկեղեցական տոնի առթիվ ներում է շնորհել 70 կալանավորների և ազատազրկման հետ չկապված պատիժ կրող անձանց: Այս մասին երեքշաբթի հայտնել է նախագահի մամուլի ծառայությունը, փոխանցում է interfax.ru-ն:

«Նախագահի ներումը վերաբերել է ազատազրկման հետ չկապված պատիժ կրող 42 անձի, ազատազրկման ձևով պատիժ կրող 24 անձի, և 4 անձի դատվածությունը հանվել է»,-ասվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ:

Սվետիցխովլոբան համարվում է կրոնական գլխավոր տոներից մեկը։ 

Սվետիցխովլոբան նշվում է տարեկան երկու անգամ, հոկտեմբերի 14-ին և հուլիսի 13-ին: Հոկտեմբերի 14-ին եկեղեցին ոգեկոչում է Քրիստոսի հանդերձանքը, իսկ հուլիսի 13-ին`Քրիստոսի բոլոր առաքյալներին:
