ՌԻԱ Նովոստիի փոխանցմամբ՝ Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հստակեցրեց Ռուսաստանի դիրքորոշումը «Տոմահավկ» հրթիռների մատակարարման վերաբերյալ՝ նշելով, որ դա լուրջ սրացում կլինի, բայց չի փոխի իրավիճակը Կիևի համար։

«Ինչ վերաբերում է Մոսկվայի դիրքորոշմանը, այն շատ հստակ արտահայտվել է նախագահ Պուտինի կողմից «Վալդայի» քննարկումների ակումբի վերջերս կայացած նիստում։ Այնտեղ ամեն ինչ հստակ արտահայտվել է։ Սա լուրջ սրացում կլինի, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ, դա չի փոխի իրավիճակը երկու ճակատներում Կիևի ռեժիմի համար», - լրագրողներին ասել է նա՝ պատասխանելով այս հարցի վերաբերյալ հարցին։

Պուտինը նախկինում հայտարարել էր, որ Կիևի կողմից «Տոմահավկ» հրթիռների օգտագործումը կվնասի Ռուսաստանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև հարաբերություններին։

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել էր, որ կցանկանար իմանալ, թե ինչ է Ուկրաինան պլանավորում անել «Տոմահավկ» հրթիռների հետ, եթե դրանք մատակարարվեն։
