Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լեյենը հայտարարել է, որ ԵՄ անդամ պետությունները պատրաստվում են նոր ավելի խիստ սահմանափակումներ մտցնել Ռուսաստանի դեմ, հաղորդում է ТАСС-ը:

«ԵՄ-ն առաջարկում է պատժամիջոցների նոր մոտեցում։ Մենք փուլային մոտեցում չենք որդեգրում, այլ առաջարկում ենք շատ ավելի խիստ միջոցներ էներգետիկայի, ֆինանսական ծառայությունների և առևտրի ոլորտներում», - նշված է ֆոն դեր Լեյենի՝ ԵՀ կայքում հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ։

Եվրահանձնաժողովի ղեկավարը հավելել է, որ այս մոտեցումն արդեն կիրառվում է 19-րդ պատժամիջոցների փաթեթի մշակման գործում, որը ներկայումս քննարկման փուլում է։ Դրանք ներառում են, մասնավորապես, 2027 թվականի հունվարից ԵՄ ռուսական հեղուկացված բնական գազի ներմուծման արգելքը, ինչպես նաև կրիպտոարժույթների և բանկերի վերաբերյալ միջոցառումները։
