Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեն (ԿԽՄԿ) դադարեցնում է իր գործունեությունը Գազա քաղաքում՝ Իսրայելի ռազմական ակտիվության պատճառով, հայտարարել է կազմակերպությունը հաղորդագրության մեջ։
 
«Գազա քաղաքում ռազմական գործողությունների սրացումը մեզ ստիպել է ժամանակավորապես դադարեցնել մեր գրասենյակի գործունեությունը և մեր անձնակազմը տեղափոխել Գազայի հատվածի հարավ՝ անվտանգությունն ու գործունեության շարունակականությունն ապահովելու համար: Մենք շարունակում ենք հանձնառու մնալ Գազա քաղաք վերադառնալուն, հենց որ պայմանները թույլ տան», – ասվում է կազմակերպության հայտարարության մեջ:
 
Նրանք նշել են, որ ստիպված են եղել այս որոշումը կայացնել «սարսափելի մարդասիրական պայմանների» ֆոնին, որոնցում շարունակում են ապրել Գազա քաղաքում տասնյակ հազարավոր մարդիկ։
