Դոհայում Համասի համալիրի վրա վերջերս կատարված հարձակումից հետո Կատարը Միացյալ Նահանգներից երաշխիքներ է ստացել, որ Իսրայելի հարձակումները երկրի վրա չեն կրկնվի։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Կատարի արտաքին գործերի նախարարության խոսնակ Մաջիդ բին Մոհամմեդ ալ-Անսարին։

«Կատարը գոհ է Դոհայի վրա հարձակումից հետո Միացյալ Նահանգներից ստացված անվտանգության երաշխիքներից։ Մենք հույս ունենք, որ Իսրայելի հարձակումները չեն կրկնվի», - երեքշաբթի օրը մամուլի ասուլիսում ասել է դիվանագետը։

Ինչպես ընդգծել է նախարարության ներկայացուցիչը, Կատարը իրավունք է վերապահում «օրինական գործողություններ» ձեռնարկել ի պատասխան Իսրայելի հարվածի։ «Մեր գլխավոր նպատակն է կանխել մեր երկրի դեմ ուղղված թշնամական գործողությունների կրկնությունը», - հավելել է նա։

Սեպտեմբերի 9-ին Իսրայելը Դոհայում հարվածել է Համասի բարձրաստիճան առաջնորդներին: Պաղեստինյան շարժումը հայտնել է վեց մարդու մահվան մասին, այդ թվում՝ Համասի Գազայի հատվածում առաջնորդներից մեկի՝ Խալիլ ալ-Հեյիի որդու և կատարցի անվտանգության աշխատակցի: Համասի բարձրաստիճան անդամների մահվան մասին հաղորդագրությունները չեն հաստատվել:
