ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, թե կանգնեցրել է «Կամբոջայի և Հայաստանի միջև» պատերազմը՝ այսպիսով հերթական անգամ շփոթելով Ադրբեջանը Կամբոջայի հետ։

Ըստ նրա, հակամարտությունը «միայն նոր էր սկսվում» և «կարող էր լուրջ հետևանքներ ունենալ»։

Թրամփը նաև նշել է. «Ունենք Կամբոջա, Հայաստան։ Կա Կոսովո, Սերբիա, Իսրայել, Իրան, Եգիպտոս, Եթովպիա։ Դա գեղեցկություն է, նրանք կառուցել են այդ փոքրիկ ջրամբարը Եթովպիայում, որը աշխարհի ամենամեծ ջրամբարն է»։

Հիշեցնենք, որ նախկինում Թրամփը բազմիցս շփոթել է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի անունները՝ Հայաստանը կոչելով Ալբանիա, իսկ Ադրբեջանը՝ «Աբերբայջան»։
