Ֆինլանդիայի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Ստուբը հայտարարել է, որ Ուկրաինայի անդամակցությունը Եվրամիությանը երկրի անվտանգության հիմնական երաշխիքն է։ Այս մասին նա ասել է Ուկրաինա կատարած այցի ընթացքում՝ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկու հետ համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսում։

«Անվտանգության ամենաուժեղ երաշխիքը և Ռուսաստանի ռազմավարական պարտության ամենաուժեղ օրինակը Ուկրաինայի անդամակցությունն է ԵՄ-ին։ Իմ կարծիքով, դա տեղի կունենա ավելի արագ, քան թվում է։ Եթե մենք ցանկանում ենք Պուտինի (Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի - խմբ.) պարտությունը, ապա Ուկրաինան պետք է վերջապես դառնա եվրոպական», - ընդգծել է Ստուբը։

Նա նաև նշել է Ուկրաինայի հետագա եվրոպական ինտեգրման ուղու կարևորությունը տարածաշրջանում կայունության և անվտանգության ամրապնդման համար։
