Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում Ռուսաստանի աշխատանքի գլխավոր գերակայությունները խաղաղությունն ու համագործակցությունն են, դրանք երբեք չեն փոխվել: Այս մասին հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Մեր առաջնահերթությունները երբեք չեն փոխվել. դրանք խաղաղությունն ու համագործակցությունն են, և դրանք նույնն են մնում նաև այսօր»,-ընդգծել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարը:

Լավրովը նշել է, որ Ռուսաստանը՝ ի դեմս Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի, վճռորոշ դեր է խաղացել խաղաղության համաձայնագրի ձեռքբերման գործում՝ Ռուսաստանի, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի առաջնորդների միջև «գիշերային բազմաթիվ հեռախոսազրույցների» միջոցով։

«Ամեն ինչ կարող էր ավելի վաղ ավարտվել, բայց ոչ բոլոր կողմից կար դրա պատրաստակամությունը»: Այնուամենայնիվ, [Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը] ձեռք է բերել պայմանավորվածություններ, որոնք ստորագրել են Հայաստանի վարչապետը [Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը] և Ադրբեջանի նախագահը [Իլհամ Ալիևը] 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերին,-հավելել է Ռուսաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը:
