Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը կարող է ժամանել Կիև՝ Ուկրաինայում խաղաղ կարգավորման շուրջ բանակցություններ վարելու համար։ Այս առաջարկը արել է  Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին ուրբաթ՝ սեպտեմբերի 5-ին, ամերիկյան ABC News հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում։

Նույն օրը՝ սեպտեմբերի 5-ին, Վլադիվոստոկում կայացած Արևելյան տնտեսական ֆորումում ելույթ ունենալով՝ Պուտինը կրկին հայտարարել է, որ Մոսկվան համարում է Ուկրաինայում խաղաղության բանակցությունների «լավագույն վայրը»։

Նա նաև խոստացաել է, որ Զելենսկիին կտրվի անվտանգության «100 տոկոսանոց» երաշխիք, եթե նա գա Ռուսաստանի մայրաքաղաք։
