Այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 24-ին, կասկադյորական ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Գեղարքունիքի մարզում։ Ժամը 16։00-ի սահմաններում Երևան-Սևան ավտոճանապարհին Կոտայքի մարզի բնակիչն 71-ամյա Սևակ Դ․-ն իր վարած «Volkswagen» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով դուրս է եկել ճանապարհի երթևեկելի գոտուց, թռել և բախվել «Գագարի մոտ» ռեստորանի կայանատեղիում կայանված «Hyundai Sonata» և 2  «Mercedes» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենաներին։

Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով, ըստ նախնական տեղեկությունների բարեբախտաբար տուժածներ չկան։

Դեպքի վայր են ժամանել ՀՀ Ներքին գործերի նախարարության փրկարար ծառայության Սևանի հրշեջ փրկարարական ջոկատից՝ 1 մարտական հաշվարկ։

Հրշեջ փրկարարները հոսանքազրկել են ավտոմեքենան և տեղում իրականացրել հերթապահություն։
