Պակիստանի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում տեղի ունեցած ավերիչ ջրհեղեղների հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը հասել է առնվազն 340 մարդու։ Փրկարարները շարունակում են Պակիստանի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում տեղի ունեցած ավերիչ ջրհեղեղներից հետո անհետ կորած ավելի քան 150 մարդու որոնումները, հայտնում է euronews.com-ը։

Որոնողական աշխատանքները ընդլայնվել են տարածաշրջանի հեռավոր շրջաններում՝ հնարավոր է՝ քշված-տարածված մարդկանց գտնելու համար։

Գյուղացիները մեղադրում են կառավարությանը՝ ջրհեղեղներից և սողանքներից առաջ իրենց տարհանման մասին չզգուշացնելու համար: Պաշտոնյաները պնդում են, որ հանկարծակի տեղատարափ անձրևն այնքան ուժեղ է եղել, որ ջրհեղեղը տեղի է ունեցել նախքան բնակիչներին կզգուշացնեին:
