На острове Сулавеси произошло землетрясение магнитудой 6,0: около 30 человек ранены

Десятки человек получили ранения в результате землетрясения магнитудой 6,0, произошедшего рано утром в воскресенье в центральной части острова Сулавеси в Индонезии, сообщило агентство по смягчению последствий стихийных бедствий страны (BNPB).

Как передает Reuters, землетрясение, произошедшее на глубине 10 км, сотрясло провинцию Посо Ридженси и ощущалось в близлежащих районах.

Двадцать девять человек получили ранения, двое в критическом состоянии, говорится в заявлении агентства. Непосредственных сообщений о смертельных исходах не поступало, добавили в BNBP. Индонезия расположена в так называемом «Тихоокеанском огненном кольце», зоне высокой сейсмической активности, где различные плиты земной коры соприкасаются и вызывают большое количество землетрясений.
