Այսօր՝ հունիսի 8-ին, ողբերգական ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Լոռու մարզում։ Ժամը 11։10-ի սահմաններում Աբովյան քաղաքի բնակիչ, 47-ամյա Խաչիկ Սուքիասյանը իր վարած ГАЗ 2410 մակնիշի Б 553 ЕC 15 RUS համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայով Ստեփանավան-Կողես ավտոճանապարհին՝ «Մղարթի հանքեր» կոչվող տարածքում, բախվել է հողաթմբին։

Ինչպես հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով ավտոմեքենայի ուղևորուհի՝ Գյումրի քաղաքի բնակիչ, 61-ամյա Ռուզաննա Հովհաննիսյանը տեղում մահացել է, իսկ վարորդ Խ. Սուքիասյանը և նրա 3 ուղևորներ՝ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության Վլադիկավկազի բնակիչներ՝ 10-ամյա Հովհաննես Հովհաննիսյանը, 9-ամյա Ռուզաննա Հովհաննիսյանը և ևս մի կին, ում ինքնությունը արզված չէ, մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են Ստեփանավանի բժշկական կենտրոն։
