Կամչատկայի ափերի մոտ գրանցվել են 6.4 մագնիտուդով ցնցումներ: Նախնական գնահատականներով՝ Պետրոպավլովսկ-Կամչատսկիի բնակիչները զգացել են 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժը:

Ռուսաստանի գիտությունների ակադեմիայի միասնական երկրաֆիզիկական ծառայության տվյալներով՝ նոր հետցնցում է տեղի ունեցել Մոսկվայի ժամանակով ժամը 13:35-ին՝ տարածաշրջանային մայրաքաղաքից 213 կմ հեռավորության վրա։ Օջախը գրանցվել է Խաղաղ օվկիանոսում՝ գրեթե 39 կմ խորության վրա։

Հետցնցումը գլխավոր երկրաշարժից հետո ամենաուժեղներից մեկն էր։ 20 րոպեի ընթացքում հաջորդեցին ևս չորս հետցնցում՝ 4.8-5.7 մագնիտուդով։

Հիշեցնենք՝ հուլիսի 30-ի առավոտյան Կամչատկայի ափերի մոտ տեղի ունեցավ հզոր երկրաշարժ։ Այն ամենաուժեղն էր 1952 թվականից ի վեր։ Իշխանությունների տվյալներով՝ դրա մագնիտուդը հասել է 8.8-ի։
