Ադրբեջանցի պատգամավոր Հասանգուլիևը հայտարարել է, որ «Մե՛նք ենք մեր սարերը» (Տատիկ-պապիկ) հուշարձանը, ինչպես նաև 1988 թվականից ի վեր Արցախում կառուցած ցանկացած հուշարձան պետք է ապամոնտաժվի։

«1988 թվականից ի վեր «հայ անջատողականների» կողմից կառուցված ցանկացած հուշարձան պետք է ապամոնտաժվի։ Որովհետև նման հուշարձանները իրականում վերստին արյունահոսում են տարիների ընթացքում անջատողականության պատճառած վերքերը և հիշեցնում մեզ պատերազմի ցավի մասին»,- ասել է պատգամավորը։

Նրա խոսքով` օկուպացված Ստեփանակերտը պետք է հայտարարվի առնվազն երկրի երկրորդ մայրաքաղաք, այնտեղ պետք է կառուցվի Ադրբեջանի նախագահի ժամանակակից գրասենյակ, իսկ պետության ղեկավարը պետք է ամառային ամիսներին այնտեղ ընդունի իր հյուրերին։
