Քրեական ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության անձի հետախուզման բաժնում ստացվել էր օպերատիվ տվյալ, որն իրացվեց հուլիսի 25-ին:

Առավոտյան ժամը 5-ին մայրաքաղաքի Զաքյան փողոցում հայտնաբերվեց հուլիսի 21-ից զենքի կամ մարմնական վնասվածք պատճառելու համար նախապես պատրաստված կամ հարմարեցված առարկայի կամ միջոցի գործադրմամբ առողջությանը ծանր վնաս պատճառելու մեղադրանքով հետախուզվող: Առանց հաշվառման հասցեի 27-ամյա տղամարդու նկատմամբ խափանման միջոց էր ընտրված կալանքը:

Նա ներկայացվել է Կենտրոն և Նորք Մարաշ վարչական շրջանների քննչական բաժին։
