Իսրայելն ու Սիրիան համաձայնության են եկել հրադադարի շուրջ

Թուրքիայում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Թոմ Բարաքը հայտարարել է, որ Իսրայելը և Սիրիան համաձայնության են եկել Աս-Սուվեյդա նահանգում հրադադարի շուրջ: Նրա խոսքով՝ կողմերը համաձայնության են եկել ԱՄՆ-ի, Թուրքիայի, Հորդանանի և Մերձավոր Արևելքի այլ երկրների աջակցությամբ։

«Մենք կոչ ենք անում դրուզներին, բեդվիներին և սուննիներին վայր դնել զենքերը և կառուցել նոր և միասնական սիրիական ինքնություն մյուս փոքրամասնությունների հետ միասին», - գրել է Թոմ Բարաքը X սոցիալական ցանցում։

Հուլիսի կեսերին Սիրիայի Աս-Սուվեյդա նահանգում սկսվել են բախումներ բեդվին աշխարհազորայինների և դրուզ զինված խմբավորումների միջև: Հուլիսի 15-ին Սիրիայի կառավարությունը զորքեր է ուղարկել տարածաշրջան: Իսրայելը պաշտպանել է դրուզ համայնքին և հարվածել սիրիական զրահատեխնիկային:

Հուլիսի 16-ին Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը ավիահարված է հասցրել Դամասկոսում գտնվող Սիրիայի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի շենքին:
