Բրազիլական «Ֆլումինենսեն» անակնկալ հաղթանակ է տարել Իտալիայի փոխչեմպիոն «Ինտերի» նկատմամբ և դուրս եկել աշխարհի ակումբային առաջնության քառորդ եզրափակիչ:

1/8 եզրափակչի խաղում բրազիլական թիմը միլանյան ակումբին հաղթել է 2-0 հաշվով: Խաղի հաշիվը երրորդ րոպեին բացել է արգենտինացի 37-ամյա հարձակվող Խերման Կանոն: Երկրորդ խաղակեսի ավելացված ժամանակի երրորդ րոպեին երկրորդ գոլն է խփել բրազիլացի կիսապաշտպան Էրկուլեսը` 2-0:

«Ինտերի» կազմում մեկնարկից խաղադաշտ է դուրս եկել Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը, 36-ամյա կիսապաշտպանը փոխարինվել է 53-րդ րոպեին:
