Ուկրաինայի նոր պաշտպանության նախարարի պաշտոնում կարող է նշանակվել գործող փոխնախարար Սերգեյ Բոևը։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Գերագույն ռադայի պատգամավոր Մարյանա Բեզուգլայան։

Բոևը դիտարկվում է Ռուստեմ Ումերովի փոխարինող՝ ըստ Բեզուգլայայի Telegram գրառման։ Ներկայում նա Ումերովի առաջին տեղակալն է և մասնակցում է ռազմավարական կառավարման մի շարք գործընթացների։
