Հռոմի պապը դիմել է Ուկրաինայի ժողովրդին՝ X-ի իր էջում գրառում անելով ուկրաիներենով։

«Ցանկանում եմ արտահայտել իմ զորակցությունը տառապող Ուկրաինային, հատկապես այն ընտանիքներին, որոնք սգում են իրենց սիրելիների կորուստը։ Ես կիսում եմ ձեր ցավն այս անիմաստ պատերազմի  համար», - գրել է Հռոմի պապ Լևոն 14-րդը։

Նա ընդգծել է, որ ուկրաինացի ժողովրդի հավատքն այժմ խիստ փորձության է ենթարկվում։

«Հավատալ չի նշանակում ունենալ բոլոր պատասխանները, այլ հույս ունենալ, որ Աստված մեզ հետ է և մեզ կտա Իր շնորհը, որ Նա կասի վերջին խոսքը, և կյանքը կհաղթի մահվանը», - նշել է նա։
