Իրանը պատրաստ է հակահարված տալ՝ հարձակվելով ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի նավերի վրա, որոնք, էսկալացիայի դեպքում, կհարձակվեն Իրանի տարածքի վրա։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Աբբաս Արաղչին NBC News-ին տված հարցազրույցում։

«Երբ պատերազմ է լինում, երկու կողմերն էլ հարձակվում են միմյանց վրա։ Սա հասկանալի է։ Ինքնապաշտպանությունը յուրաքանչյուր երկրի օրինական իրավունքն է», - հիշեցրել է Արաղչին։

Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարության ղեկավարը հավելել է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը կարող է ընդամենը մեկ հեռախոսազանգով հանգստացնել Իսրայելին և ստիպել նրան դադարեցնել Իրանի վրա հարձակումը։
