Իրանի գերագույն առաջնորդ այաթոլլա Ալի Խամենեին կարող է նույն ճակատագրին արժանանալ, ինչ Իրաքի հանգուցյալ բռնապետ Սադամ Հուսեյնը, երեքշաբթի զգուշացրել է Իսրայելի պաշտպանության նախարար Իսրայել Կացը։

«Ես զգուշացնում եմ իրանցի բռնապետին չշարունակել ռազմական հանցագործություններ կատարել և հրթիռներ չարձակել Իսրայելի քաղաքացիների վրա», - ասել է Կացը Թել Ավիվում Իսրայելի բարձրաստիճան զինվորական պաշտոնյաների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ։

«Նա պետք է հիշի, թե ինչ ճակատագիր ունեցավ Իրանի հարևան երկրում մի բռնապետ, որն ընտրեց Իսրայել պետության դեմ ուղին», - հավելել է Կացը:

Հուսեյնըն Իրաքի նախագահն էր 1979 թվականից մինչև 2003 թվականին տապալումը: 2003 թվականին ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած ուժերի Իրաք ներխուժումից հետո նա գերեվարվել է, դատվել և մահապատժի ենթարկվել կախաղանի միջոցով։
