«The Washington Post»-ը հրապարակել է գործարար Իլոն Մասկի և ԱՄՆ-ի ֆինանսների նախարար Սքոթ Բեսենթի միջև տեղի ունեցած վեճից մանրամասներ:

Թերթը, հղում անելով Թրամփի նախկին խորհրդական Սթիվ Բենոնին, գրում է, որ Մասկը և Բեսենթը կռվել են հենց Սպիտակ տանը: Միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել ապրիլին։ Ամեն ինչ սկսվել է մեղադրանքներից. գործարարը խոստացել էր բյուջեում գտնել տրիլիոն դոլարի խնայողություն, բայց գտել է միայն հարյուր միլիարդ։

Դրանից հետո Բեսենթը Մասկին անվանել է խարդախ։ Մասկը ուսով հրել է Ֆինանսների նախարարին, ինչից հետո նա հարված է ստացել աչքին։ Թրամփը, միջամտել է ասելով, որ չափն անցնում են:
