Հունիսի 3-ին Հայաստանում արձանագրվել է Արևմտյան Նեղոսի տենդ հիվանդության լաբորատոր հաստատված 1 դեպք: Առողջապահության նախարարության հաղորդմամբ, Արևմտյան Նեղոսի տենդը հիմնականում մոծակների միջոցով փոխանցվող տրանսմիսիվ վիրուսային հիվանդություն է:

Մարդուց մարդուն վարակը չի փոխանցվում։ Այն ունի հստակ արտահայտված սեզոնայնություն՝ հունիսից մինչև հոկտեմբեր, պայմանավորված մոծակների բազմացման և տարածման համար բարենպաստ պայմաններով։

Վարակված մարդկանց շուրջ 80%-ի մոտ որևէ ախտանշաններ չեն զարգանում:

Կլինիկական ախտանշանները՝ գլխացավ, մկանացավ, ցան, հոդացավ, գլխապտույտ, իսկ ծանր դեպքերքում՝ մենինգիտ, էնցեֆալիտ, ինչպես նաև կենտրոնական կամ ծայրամասային նյարդային համակարգի ախտահարման նշաններ:

ՀՎԿԱԿ մասնագետները փոխանցողների շրջանում շարունակում են իրականացնել միջատաբանական հետազոտություններ:
