В 16 км к северо-востоку от города Капан произошло землетрясение.

Как сообщили в пресс-службе СС МВД республики, Сейсмологической сетью территориальной службы сейсмической защиты 4 апреля в 04:19 по местному времени (в 00:19 по Гринвичу) зарегистрировано землетрясение магнитудой 3.1 с географическими координатами 39․28⁰ северной широты и 46.56⁰ восточной долготы в Азербайджане, в 16 км к северо-востоку от города Капан, Армения, глубина очага - 10 км.

Сила подземного толчка в эпицентре составила 4 балла.

Землетрясение ощущалось в городе Капан Сюникской области (2-3 балла).
