Ամերիկյան SpaceX ընկերությունը, որը պատկանում է միլիարդատեր Իլոն Մասկին, ուղեծիր է դուրս բերել Crew Dragon տիեզերանավը՝ տիեզերական զբոսաշրջիկներով։ Fram2 առաքելության անձնակազմն առաջին անգամ կթռչի Երկրի բևեռների վրայով՝ 425-450 կմ բարձրության վրա, ասվում է X սոցիալական ցանցում ընկերության միկրոբլոգում։

Թռիչքի գլխավոր հովանավորը չինացի գործարար և հետազոտող Չուն Վանգն է Մալթայից։ Հայտնի չէ, թե Վանգը որքան գումար է ծախսել թռիչքի վրա։

Անձնակազմի կազմում են նաև նորվեգացի ռեժիսոր Յաննիկե Միկելսենը, ավստրալացի հետազոտող Էրիկ Ֆիլիպսը և Գերմանիայից առաջին կին տիեզերագնաց Ռաբեա Ռոգեն: Սա նրանց առաջին թռիչքն էր։
