Կանադայի վարչապետ Ջասթին Թրյուդոն աջակցություն է հայտնել Ուկրաինային այն բանից հետո, երբ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի և Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկու հանդիպումը Սպիտակ տանը վերածվել է բանավեճի։ Այս մասին Թրյուդոն գրել է X  սոցիալական ցանցում, հայտնում է «Европейская правда»-ն։

Թրյուդոն նշել է, որ Ռուսաստանն անօրինական և անհիմն ներխուժել է Ուկրաինա, և արդեն երեք տարի է, ինչ ուկրաինացիները պայքարում են խիզախությամբ և տոկունությամբ։

«Նրանց պայքարը հանուն ժողովրդավարության, ազատության և ինքնիշխանության համար այն պայքարն է, որը կարևոր է բոլորիս համար։ Կանադան կշարունակի աջակցել Ուկրաինային և ուկրաինացիներին՝ արդար և կայուն խաղաղության հասնելու համար»,-գրել է Թրյուդոն։
