Ինսայդեր Ալեքս Կանդալի խոսքերով, լեգենդար Լիոնել Մեսսին ցանկանում է այս ամառ վերադառնալ «Բարսելոնա»։ Ըստ ինսայդերի՝ իր հետ առանձնազրույցում Մեսսին ասել է, որ չի կարող ավարտել կարիերան՝ առանց վերանորոգված «Կամպ Նոուում» խաղալու։

Նա նաև պնդում է, որ «Բարսելոնան» արդեն ուղիներ է փնտրում այս տրանսֆերն իրականացնելու համար։ 2023 թվականի ամառվանից Մեսսին հանդես է գալիս ամերիկյան «Ինտեր Մայամիում», որտեղ 41 խաղում դարձել է 35 գոլի հեղինակ։

«Ոսկե գնդակի» ութակի դափնեկիրը կատալոնական գրանդի կազմում մասնակցել է 778 հանդիպման՝ դառնալով 672 գոլի և 303 գոլային փոխանցման հեղինակ։
