Իրանի առաջին փոխնախագահ Ռեզա Արեֆը Թեհրանում հանդիպել է Ադրբեջանի վարչապետ Ալի Ասադովի հետ, ով այցելել է Թեհրան՝ մասնակցելու Կասպյան երրորդ տնտեսական համաժողովին, հայտնում է Mehr-ը։

Արեֆը լավատեսություն է հայտնել, որ այցը ոչ միայն կամրապնդի Կասպից ծովի երկրների բազմակողմ համագործակցությունը, այլեւ զգալիորեն կբարելավի Իրանի ու Ադրբեջանի երկկողմ հարաբերությունները։

Նա հաստատել է Իրանի ռազմավարական մոտեցումը հարևանների հետ ամուր հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման հարցում և հաստատել, որ Իրանի կառավարությունը հավատարիմ է տարբեր ոլորտներում կապերի խորացմանը։

Իրանի փոխնախագահն ընդգծել է, որ ոչ մի արտաքին գործոն չի կարող խաթարել երկու երկրների ամուր կապերը:
