Հայտնի ռուս բժիշկ և հեռուստահաղորդավար բժիշկ Մյասնիկովը «Ռոսիա» հեռուստաալիքի «Ամենակարևոր բանի մասին» հաղորդման եթերում խոսել է շնչառական սինցիցիալ վիրուսի մահացու վտանգի մասին, որն ազդում է շնչուղիների վրա։ Առավելագույն վտանգի տակ են մինչև 2 տարեկան երեխաները, նշել է բժիշկը։ Այնուամենայնիվ, չնայած նորածինների համար ամենաբարձր ռիսկերին, քչերը գիտեն այս մասին:

Մահացության մակարդակը նույնիսկ չափահաս բնակչության շրջանում կազմում է մոտ 10%: Նշվում է, որ վիրուսը կարող է առաջացնել նաև անեմիա և արյունահոսություն:

Եզրափակելով՝ բժիշկը կիսվել է մահացու ելքերի վիճակագրությամբ: Նրա խոսքով՝ այս վիրուսով վարակված 100 մարդուց 10-ը երբեք տուն չի վերադառնում։
