Փրկարարները Վաշինգտոնի Պոտոմակ գետից դուրս են բերել քաղաքի երկնքում տեղի ունեցած ավիավթարի բոլոր 67 զոհերի մարմինները, հայտնել են ԶԼՄ-ները։

Անցյալ շաբաթ՝ հինգշաբթի գիշերը Վաշինգտոնի Ռոնալդ Ռեյգան միջազգային օդանավակայանում American Airlines ավիաընկերության Bombardier CRJ700 մարդատար ինքնաթիռը վայրէջք կատարելու ժամանակ բախվել էր Sikorsky H-60 ​​(Black Hawk) ռազմական ուղղաթիռին։ Ինքնաթիռում եղել էր 60 ուղեւոր և անձնակազմի չորս անդամ, իսկ ուղղաթիռում՝ երեք մարդ։
