Վանա լճում ջրի մակարդակը օրեցօր նվազում է։ Լուսանկարներ և տեսանյութ է հրապարկվել, որտեղ երևում է, թե ինչ տեսք ունի լիճը։ Ջրի մակարդակը շարունակում է իջնել երաշտի, ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացման և տեղումների նվազման պատճառով, ինչպես նաև գոլորշիացման հետևանքով։ 

Ջրի մակարդակը զգալիորեն իջել է, ինչի հետևանքով ի հայտ են եկել հարյուրավոր միկրոբիալիտներ՝ միկրոօրգանիզմների կողմից ձևավորված նստվածքներ։
