Ամեն շաբաթ մայրաքաղաքի վարչական շրջաններում, նախապես հասցեագրված տարածքներում կազմակերպվում են ներքին շաբաթօրյակներ: «Սանիթեք» ընկերության ու կոմունալ ծառայությունների ուժերով մաքրվում և պատշաճ տեսքի են բերվում ընդհանուր օգտագործման տարածքները, այդ թվում նաև այգիներն ու պուրակները: 

Ըստ անհրաժեշտության, գործընթացը կազմակերպվում է հատուկ տեխնիկայով` ինքնաթափներով ու ջրցաններով: Օրվա վերջում կուտակված աղբը տեղափոխվում է համապատասխան վայրեր: Գործընթացը վերահսկվում է Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի կոմունալ տնտեսության վարչության և վարչական շրջանների համապատասխան բաժինների կողմից: Հիշեցնենք, որ հիմք ընդունելով մայիսի 27-ին հանրապետական շաբաթօրյակ կազմակերպելու վերաբերյալ ՀՀ կառավարության առաջարկը, Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը քաղաքապետի տեղակալներին, աշխատակազմի կոմունալ տնտեսության վարչությանը և վարչական շրջանների ղեկավարներին հանձնարարել է մայրաքաղաքում ևս կազմակերպել համաքաղաքային շաբաթօրյակ:
