Կուրսկի մարզում հակագրոհի անհաջող փորձից հետո 26 ուկրաինացի զինվորական է գերի հանձնվել։ Տեղեկությունը հայտնում են ռուսական ուժային կառույցները։ Ուկրաինան հունվարի 5-ին է հակագրոհ ձեռնարկել, որը ձախողվել է։

Միայն վերջին 24 ժամվա ընթացքում Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի չորս զինծառայող է գերի հանձնվել։
Ռուսական լրատվամիջոցների տեղեկություններով` վերջին օրերին ռուսական զորքը կրկին առաջխաղացում է ունեցել Կուրսկի մարզում և ուկրաինական զինուժի ստորաբաժանումներին դուրս է մղել Լեոնիդովո, Ալեքսանդրիա, Կրուգլենկոյե, Նիկոլաևկա և մասամբ Ստարայա և Նովայա Սորոչինա բնակավայրերից։
