Ֆինլանդիայի վարչապետ Պետերի Օրպոն ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ սահմանը մնում է փակ, քանի որ Ֆինլանդիայի իշխանությունները վստահ են, որ եթե այն բացվի, Ռուսաստանը միգրանտներ կուղարկի Ֆինլանդիա՝ առանց համապատասխան փաստաթղթերի:

«Արևելյան սահմանը փակ է մինչև հաջորդ ծանուցումը, և մենք չենք կարող այն բացել, քանի դեռ չենք գտել միջոց, որի օգնությամբ, Ռուսաստանի հետ համաձայնեցված մեկ կամ մի քանի սահմանային կետ բացենք։ Նման փոխըմբռնում չկա»,- ասել է Օրպոն։

Նրա խոսքով՝ Ֆինլանդիայի իշխանությունները պետք է հասկանան, որ եթե սահմանային անցակետերը բացվեն, արդյոք Ռուսաստանը միգրանտներին Ֆինլանդիա չի ուղարկի առանց համապատասխան փաստաթղթերի։
