Վրաստանում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դեսպանը կանչվել է ԱԳՆ. Գարեթ Ուորդը հանդիպմանն ընդառաջ հրաժարվել է մեկնաբանություն տալ լրատվամիջոցներին, գրում է «Սպուտնիկ» գործակալության վրացական ծառայությունը:

Նախօրեին Մեծ Բրիտանիան պատժամիջոցներ է սահմանել վրացի հինգ պաշտոնյաների դեմ, որոնք պատասխանատու են Վրաստանում լրագրողների և խաղաղ ցուցարարների վրա հարձակումների համար: Այս մասին ասվում է  բրիտանական կառավարության տարածած մամուլի հաղորդագրության մեջ։

Միացյալ Թագավորության կառավարության մամուլի հաղորդագրության մեջ նշվում էր, որ «Վրաստանի իշխանությունները սկսել են համակարգված ճնշումներ ցույցերի մասնակիցների, քաղաքացիական հասարակության, ԶԼՄ-ների և ընդդիմության նկատմամբ՝ հետևելով «Վրացական երազանք» կուսակցության՝ դեպի եվրոպական ապագան երկրի առաջընթացը կասեցնելու հանրային հակազդեցությանը»:
