Նախիջևանի զինվորական դատախազությունը նախօրեին տեղեկություն է ստացել ՊՆ N-ի զորամասի զինծառայող, շարքային Թարիվերդի Ջաֆարլիի մահվան մասին. հայտնում են ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները։

Նշվում է, որ մահացել է հրազենային կրակոցի հետևանքով։ Ստացված տեղեկատվության հիման վրա Նախիջևանի զինվորական դատախազության և Ադրբեջանի Զինվորական դատախազության աշխատակիցները կատարել են դեպքի վայրի և մարմնի զննություն, որպես իրեղեն ապացույց՝ առգրավվել են գործի համար էական նշանակություն ունեցող առարկաներ, կատարվել են այլ գործողություններ։ Դեպքի առնչությամբ հարուցվել է քրեական գործ, քննությունը շարունակվում է։
