Социальная сеть TikTok вводит новые ограничения для пользователей до 18 лет. Подросткам запретят использовать «фильтры красоты», меняющие внешность. В компании заявили, что запрет связан с тем, что из-за «фильтров» молодые люди (особенно девушки) начинают критически относиться к своей внешности.

Запрет распространяется только на «фильтры красоты», позволяющие увеличить губы, разгладить или изменить тон кожи. «Фильтры» с комическими эффектами не подпадают под ограничения.

Компания также объявила об усилении контроля над возрастом пользователей. К концу года TikTok начнет тестирование систем машинного обучения, которые будут блокировать учетные записи пользователей младше 13 лет.
