Apple-ը գրեթե դադարեցրել է կարմիր սմարթֆոնների և այլ սարքերի արտադրությունը։

2006 թվականից Apple-ը համագործակցում է (RED) ապրանքանիշի հետ՝ թողարկելով իր որոշ գաջեթներ կարմիր գույնով։ Այս սարքերի վաճառքից ստացված հասույթի մի մասը ընկերությունը նվիրաբերում է ՁԻԱՀ-ի դեմ պայքարի համաշխարհային հիմնադրամին:

«MacRumors»-ը նկատել է, որ ՏՏ հսկան գրեթե ամբողջությամբ հրաժարվել է նման ապրանքների վաճառքից։

«Միակ նոր սարքը, որը Apple-ը վաճառում է կարմիր գույնով (ԿԱՐՄԻՐ), «iPhone SE 3»-ն է»,- պարզել են լրատվամիջոցների հեղինակները։ Կարմիր «iPhone 14» և մի քանի պատյաններ հասանելի են նաև ընկերության կայքում: Այնուամենայնիվ, Apple-ը չի առաջարկում «iPhone 15» կամ «iPhone 16» մոդելներ այս գույնով:

Նյութում ասվում է նաև, որ ընկերության շարքը ներառում է կարմիր Beats ականջակալներ։ Օգտագործում են այլ մարքեթինգային անուններ՝ «Statement Red» և «Transparent Red»:
