Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուի և պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Յոավ Գալանտի նկատմամբ Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի (ՄՔԴ)՝ կալանավորելու որոշումն աղաղակող է։ Այս մասին նոյեմբերի 21-ին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը։

«Իսրայելական առաջնորդների համար ՄՔԴ-ի կողմից ձերբակալության օրդեր տրամադրելը սարսափելի է: Թույլ տվեք նորից պարզաբանել։ Ինչ էլ որ ենթադրի ՄՔԴ-ն, Իսրայելի և ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի միջև համարժեքություն չկա։ Մենք միշտ աջակցելու ենք Իսրայելին նրա անվտանգությանը սպառնացող երևույթների դեմ»,-ասված է ԱՄՆ ներկայիս նախագահի՝ Սպիտակ տան կայքում հրապարակված հայտարարության մեջ։

Ավելի վաղ Միջազգային քրեական դատարանը Իսրայելի նախագահ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուի և երկրի պաշտպանության նախարարության նախկին ղեկավար Յոավ Գալանտի ձերբակալության օրդեր է տվել։ Որոշումն ընդունվել է, քանի որ Նեթանյահուն և Գալանտը «շարունակում են հանցավոր գործողությունները» և պետք է տեղյակ լինեն զոհերի և նրանց ընտանիքների շահերից բխող օրդերների առկայության մասին։
