Իրաքը պաշտոնական բողոք է ուղարկել ՄԱԿ Անվտանգության խորհրդին և ՄԱԿ  գլխավոր քարտուղարին՝   Իսրայելի կողմից Իրանին օդային հարվածներ հասցնելիս Իրաքի օդային տարածքն օգտագործելու համար, հայտնում է INA գործակալությունը։

Իրաքի կառավարության խոսնակ Բասիմ Ալավադին հայտնել է, որ փաստաթղթում «Բաղդադը դատապարտել է սիոնիստական ​​ռեժիմին՝ հոկտեմբերի 26-ին Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության ուղղությամբ հարձակման ժամանակ Իրաքի օդային տարածքը խախտելու համար, ինչը նաև Իրաքի ինքնիշխանության խախտում է հանդիսանում»։

«Իրաքի կառավարությունը թույլ չի տա օգտագործել իր երկրի օդային տարածքը  այլ պետությունների, մասնավորապես՝ հարևան երկրների վրա հարձակումներ իրականացնելու համար, որոնց հետ Իրաքը հարաբերություններ է պահպանում և ունի փոխադարձ շահեր»,- Իրաքի կառավարության խոսնակի խոսքերն է մեջբերել INA գործակալությունը։
