Նախնական պայմանավորվածություն կա, որ 2025 թվականի հունվարի 1-ից «Ագարակ» սահմանային վերահսկողության կետում սահմանային ամբողջական ծառայությունն իրականացվի ՀՀ սահմանապահ զորքերի կողմից, իսկ հայ-իրանական ընդհանուր սահմանին համատեղ ծառայության վերաբերյալ այս պահին ընթանում են քննարկումներ»,- լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ԱԱԾ տնօրեն Արմեն Աբազյանը՝ անդրադառնալով հայկական և ռուսական սահմանապահ ուժերի կողմից հայ-իրանական սահմանին ծառայություն իրականացնելու վերաբերյալ վերջին փոփոխություններին։

Պատասխանելով հարցին, թե մոտ ապագայում  հնարավո՞ր է, որ ինչպես հայ-իրանական, այնպես էլ հայ-թուրքական սահմանին ծաառայությունը միայն հայ սահմանապահներն իրականացնեն, այսինքն՝ ռուս սահմանապահներն ամբողջությամբ դադարեցնեն ծառայությունը ՀՀ սահմաններին, ԱԱԾ տնօրենն ասաց՝ դեռևս նման որոշում չկա։
